“Whiskey In The Jar” by Thin Lizzy – Ukulele Tutorial

info-64  About The Song

"Whiskey in the Jar" is a popular Irish traditional song from the 17th or 18th Century. The author is unknown. A lot of artists recorded their version of this song. The Dubliners made a version of it in the 1960s and in 1990 they made a version with The Pogues. In the early 1970s the band Thin Lizzy had a huge chart success with their rock version of the song. In the 1990s Metallica made the song popular again with their a hard rock version. Our version is based on the  Thin Lizzy version with a little bit of laid back feel. We hope you like it, if so feel free to leave a comment. Have Fun.

Thank you for a fantastic web site.

Love the tutorial on Whiskey in the Jar for Ukulele. Would it be possible to find a tab for the melody line being played in the recording. Really nice

    Best regards
