Brittni Paiva – From A Looper To Guitar Heroes

Brittni Paiva was born in 1988 in Big Island, Hawaii. She began to play the ukulele when she was 11 years old. She developed her own style, playing instrumentals from old Hawaiian tunes, pop classics, Latin music to her own songs. Her first album called " Brittni X3 " was released in 2004. She played ukulele, Slack Key Guitar and bass. To get an impression of her music here's a video with her instrumental rendition of the song “ Lights “ which was a hit on Ellie Goulding's debut album in 2010.She uses a looper to create a backing.
Over the years she became an international successful artist and received different music awards like the Na Hoku Hanohano Award in 2005 for her album “ Hear “.   In 2008 she married, after her husband sent her a message though Myspace ( he saw her in concert before ). So sorry folks, this beauty is spoken for.   She worked with several famous musicians. Among them is guitar virtuoso Tommy Emmanuel.
She also jammed with Carlos Santana when he played in Hawaii in 2013.
Her last album is called " Tell U What " and was released in 2012. She received some awards for it, such as the Na Hoku Hanohano Award Instrumental - " Ukulele Album of the Year ".   To see more performances of Brittni Paiva just visit her Youtube channel.
