Forrest Gump Theme – Baritone Ukulele Cover

This is my rendition of the theme song from the film Forrest Gump.

The music was written by Alan Silvestri. He composed the soundtrack of the Predator movies and many more.

I played the song on my Ortega RUE14FMH baritone ukulele.

The ukulele is tuned in Open G, which I described here.

I used a ZoomQ3HD for recording.

Here’s a great rendition by Max Chan. When I just heard the picking in the beginning I thought he’s a uke player too.

But no !

This guy is a gifted violinist. So no frets at all.
